The Boone Lake Association (BLA) has received the Tennessee Association of Conservation Districts (TACD) conservation promotion award, the BLA announced in a release on Thursday. The BLA has been improving Northeast Tennessee’s water quality for 41 years and is the state’s oldest environmental group. BLA began as a homeowner’s association in 1983 and has grown to include several hundred volunteers.     Read the article…………………………….
