The town of Carolina Shores has filed a lawsuit against the Carolina Shores Property Owners Association claiming the POA illegally placed liens on two town-owned lots. The action filed Oct. 16 in Brunswick County Superior Court states a lien in the amount of $395 plus costs was placed July 5 for an unpaid 2018 assessment on a town lot at 64 Carolina Shores Parkway.
