Catch-and-release fishing seems harmless enough, but some Calabasas residents believe the hook, line and sinker that goes along with the practice can be damaging to both wildlife and the environment.  Randi Feilich, a resident of Calabasas Westridge Estates, has been circulating a petition to stop all fishing at Calabasas Lake. She was scheduled to give the petition to the board of directors of the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association at its July 9 meeting.
