The Corporate Transparency Act (“CTA”) is a federal law that was enacted in 2021 to stop individuals in foreign countries from illegally moving money into the United States. The CTA requirements for certain types of corporate entities in the United States. The Federal Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”), is the federal agency that is charged with enforcing the Corporate Transparency Act.
