Water Tower condo owners sue over flooring (IL)

A contractor who’s the subject of a lawsuit over plumbing lines in a rehab in Water Tower is also under fire for flooring in another unit in the building.  In a lawsuit, Ian and Patricia Frost, who own a unit on the 54th floor, claim Centaur Interiors used flooring that does not provide the level of sound-deadening required by the condo board.  River North-based Centaur is also a defendant in a case Crain’s reported on Feb. 14, where use of a space-saving type of plumbing joint in one of Oprah Winfrey’s former condos sparked a lawsuit from downstairs neighbors.     Read the article…………
