Dear Tony: Our owners just received a notice from the president of our strata council that strata fees are going to be adjusted because the billing for water has been changed. The city will now be charging simply based on the number of units and not by a metered billing cycle. In the long term it will be a cost saving for the city. The letter says because the billing is now based on the number of units and it will be a per unit cost, the portion of the billing for the water will be removed from our strata fees and charged equally to each owner.
