An emotional support animal can stay with its owner at a downtown Aspen condominium property that bans pets after a judge determined there is sufficient evidence showing she will continue to suffer from anxiety without its companionship. District Court Judge Elise Myer granted the owner a preliminary injunction allowing her to keep the dog — a 6 ½-pound hypoallergenic maltipoo named “Aspen” — on the property so long as it is not unattended.
