Deadline passes but jail time still possible for Simpsonville man fighting his HOA (SC)

A Simpsonville man continues to haggle in court with his homeowners association which says he has violated the covenants of Holly Tree Plantation.  In January, Circuit Court Judge Robin Stilwell ordered Melchior Julien to pay more than $3,600 in attorney fees by Feb. 1 or the court could issue a bench warrant for his arrest, according to Greenville Common Pleas documents.  More than a week has passed since the deadline to pay the fine, but Julien has not paid the fees or been jailed.   Read the article…………………..
