Q: The renters in a home I own occasionally violate the HOA rules, such as parking a trailer in the driveway or leaving the trash can visible in front of the house. The HOA sends me a letter with a threat to impose fines if the violation is not corrected. I see that the renters correct the violation. I do pay the small yearly HOA assessment.
