HOA may build wall that would add a mile to elementary students’ walk to school (AZ)

Every school day, the Jones children are among hundreds who walk a few blocks through their neighborhood to enter the Surprise Elementary School campus through the back gate.  That walk — for second-grader Tyjohnae, third-grader MJ, fifth-grader Taejohn, eighth-graders Edward and Johntae, and their classmates — may soon grow about a mile longer, and be pushed out along busier roads in El Mirage.    Read the article……………………………
