The condominium board at 250 Bowery filed a lawsuit against developer VE Equities, Morris Adjmi Architects and Douglas Elliman for allegedly selling them shoddy apartments. In a complaint filed with New York State Supreme Court Thursday, the board alleges that the 24-unit Lower East Side building’s water pipes weren’t properly insulated, leading one of them to burst in February 2016 and flooding several units.
