Fla. Appeals Court Reverses Order For Firm To Release Files

A Florida appeals court on Wednesday quashed a lower court’s order requiring a Fort Lauderdale law firm to release files in five cases to a condominium association it previously represented, saying essential facts had not yet been determined and that the ruling could cause irreparable harm.   Conde & Cohen PL had petitioned the appeals court for relief from the April 30 order entered on behalf of Grandview Palace Condominium Association Inc., arguing that it had asserted a retaining lien against its former client.    Read the article……….
