“Glen Cove residents teamed up with Solano Resource Conservation District and staff from Wildland Res Mgt. to conduct a comprehensive survey of all 2,443 buildings in the community. Those results – covering features like construction materials, vegetation clearance around structures, and open space features – were then incorporated into a Community Action Plan outlining the steps Glen Cove will take over the next three years on its journey toward fire resilience,” organizers state.
