Several years ago, in an effort to extend an olive branch to homeowners near the Empire Polo Grounds, concert producer Goldenvoice offered to reimburse homeowners associations for security costs incurred over Coachella and Stagecoach festival weekends.  Gate guards and security patrols help manage the influx of tens of thousands of people that attend the April music festivals. Rowdy festivalgoers have been known to trespass in the gated communities of Indio and La Quinta that surround the polo grounds. One property-management firm said trespassers scale walls, damage property and some have even squatted in the backyards of empty homes.    Read the article…………………..
