Grove Isle (FL) Dispute Lingers, But Residents at Least Get a Victory With One Issue

A developer looking to build luxury condominiums on Miami’s Grove Isle will have to hold off until August after residents filed for an emergency injunction to block his project.  Developer Eduardo Avila owns about 7½ acres adjacent to three residential towers on the private island off Coconut Grove. His holdings include the Grove Isle Hotel & Spa as well as 12 tennis courts, a salon, pool, restaurant, tiki bar and other amenities long used by owners of the 510 condominiums at Grove Isle.      Read the article……….
