When the city acquired the remaining 250 acres from Santa Fe Estates in 2020, it became the declarant of Las Estrellas in the Northwest Quadrant.  In January, the City Council appointed Jake Garrison, an Albuquerque lawyer, to act as “contractor” to strip Tract 6A, a 20-acre portion of Las Estrellas between South Ridgetop Road and N.M. 599, of its covenants, conditions and restrictions, appoint hand-picked Las Estrellas master and regional homeowners association board members and oversee HOA accounts.     Read the article…………………………….
