A homeowners’ association has filed a lawsuit against Half Moon Bay, alleging the city seized a section of unused property to build Oak Avenue Park.   The suit filed by the Cypress-by-the Sea Homeowners Association seeks more than $1 million in damages stemming from charges that the city improperly took the strip of land at the end of Oak Avenue through condemnation and gave no compensation.     Read the article…………………………….
