Inflation is here and no apparent relief in our near future. According to the most recent data from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics the annual inflation rate for the United States is 8.5%. This increase has slowed slightly with the recent decrease in gas prices, but materials, food and shelter costs continue to rise.
