New York Public Library’s fight with Fifth Ave condo owners over renovation fee is shelved (NY)

The New York Public Library’s battle with the well-heeled residents of a Fifth Ave. condo building now belongs in the history section.  The NYPL filed suit in August, alleging the board of the Fifth Avenue Tower was impeding exterior renovations to the Mid-Manhattan branch and seeking to force the library to pay a $15,000 per month inconvenience fee.    Read the article………………..
