HOA Act does not mandate secret ballot elections (FL)

Q: I read your column every Sunday and it provides great insight for those with little to no knowledge of Florida laws and revisions. At our upcoming annual meeting, members will vote to elect new directors. We have been told that only the vote to elect new directors is to be by secret ballot. We are a homeowners association (HOA), so is this correct?     Read the Q&A……………………
