Allies and neighbors of a woman who was effectively forced off her land near Abiquiú when a judge sided with her Homeowner’s Association say they will help pay to have the case appealed.  Melinda Grogan, a resident of the Santa California Subdivision east of Abiquiú, said a court ruling Oct. 9 by state District Court Judge Sheri Raphaelson rendered her half-acre lot virtually useless by allowing the Association to enforce the subdivision’s rules on her property. The Association, which represents a section of the approximately 11,000-acre subdivision, sought an injunction to prevent Grogan from maintaining any structure on her property.   Read the article…………………………….
