We’re not going to start this blog by reminding everyone of the Surfside Condo collapse in 2021, the legislature’s statutory changes to improve condo safety, or the anticipated effects resulting from those new laws. One of the things that we expected to happen was a substantial increase in condominium special assessments as condominium associations went through the process of having studies done to evaluate the physical condition of structures and began to comply with new rules regarding the maintenance of reserve accounts.    Read the article…………………………….
