Shelly Law read over all the disclosure forms and saw no red flags when she purchased her home in Gilbert’s Power Ranch Community back in February.  “I love the community with everyone outside playing,” said Law. “I didn’t have that in my last neighborhood.”  Shortly after the sale went through, the Valley mom learned about a lawsuit Power Ranch was involved in. This came as quite a surprise to the new homeowner, whose disclosure documents from Power Ranch specifically asked if the association is involved in any current or pending litigation.
