Preservation group acquires languishing Mesquite Golf and Country Club land via donation from buyer (CA)

For owners of the 600 condominiums that surround the Mesquite golf course, talk of the impending purchase was met with mixed reactions. Some have asked the city for years to prevent the property from being used for housing, hoping to preserve it as open space.
