For the entire month of July, the Summerwood Condominium Association fined Mashpee resident Kristin DaLomba $10 a day for displaying a Black Lives Matter sign in her front garden, alleging a violation of the association’s regulations. After racking up more than $400 in fines for defiantly displaying the sign, Ms. DaLomba has retained a lawyer who said he is investigating possible claims of discrimination, interference with her First Amendment rights and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
