Residents concerned over flooding and waste from water flushing

Some residents around Masonboro Harbor are concerned about water flushing in their area, after a maintenance issue had a fire hydrant gushing water all weekend.  Flushing is a year-round procedure where water is forced through pipes at high speeds, flushing out of fire hydrants to remove mineral sediments to ensure quality drinking water.     Read the article………..
