The San Diego Country Estates HOA board recently voted to eliminate quarterly guest passes and 10% food discounts. While distressing, it is not unexpected. This board doesn’t seem to understand the nature of our HOA.  As homeowners in the Estates, we OWN all the facilities. Some have mistakenly called them “businesses.” They are not. They are amenities that are available to the homeowners that share in their ownership.
