Skokie resident alleges a Park Ridge law firm failed to investigate assessments on a condo unit on his behalf before he purchased it. According to the complaint, the plaintiff retained the defendant’s services when she purchased a condo in October 2016. She alleges she learned in December 2016 that there was a special assessment passed by the condo board that required a roughly $50,000 payment from her for a construction/engineering error.
