Statutory term limits do not apply unless governing documents contain Kaufman language (FL)

It’s election season again and the perfect time to revisit our prior columns regarding condominium term limits. You may recall that the Condominium Act, as amended in 2018, provides that “a board member may not serve more than eight consecutive years unless approved by an affirmative vote of unit owners representing two-thirds of all votes cast in the election or unless there are not enough eligible candidates to fill the vacancies on the board at the time of the vacancy.”    Read the article………………………….
