Social media has taken root in the daily lives of almost every person in the world. With billions of users, the various social media platforms have enabled communication to be shared around the world instantly. But with that instantaneous communication, negative side effects have appeared. Over the last several years, increasing hostility and misinformation have become the norm for social media and POAs are not immune to online abuse and misinformation spread about the POA.
