HOA Q&A: Does Florida law supersede an HOA’s restrictions on having a flagpole on a lot?

Q: I live in a homeowner’s association. I have been thinking of installing a flagpole on my lot and flying various flags. My homeowner’s association has restrictions about flagpoles. But, I heard that the right to have a flagpole and fly certain flags is protected under Florida law. Is this true?  Read the Q&A……………………………….
