At a public meeting on fire response and resiliency hosted by Rep. Mike Thompson, Lake County residents called for more cooperation between governmental agencies and community organizations in combating the area’s wildfire-related issues. Sitting on a panel alongside Lake County District 1 Supervisor Moke Simon, Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit Chief Shana Jones, Mendocino National Forest Supervisor Ann Carlson, Bureau of Land Management Ukiah Field Office Manager Amanda James, and Pepperwood Preserve President and CEO Lisa Micheli, PhD, Rep.
