Structural concerns that forced Charleston residents to urgently evacuate a downtown residential tower along the Cooper River appear similar to conditions that resulted in the 2021 collapse of a Surfside, Fla., condo that killed 98 people, according to outside engineers.  While no one has said whether the 19-story Dockside Condominiums — Charleston’s tallest building other than a church steeple — could tumble, city officials are asking that very question.    Read the article…………………………….
