As many of you may already know, the Washington Common Interest Ownership Act (“WCIOA”) was adopted by the legislature this year and goes into effect on July 1, 2018. The 135-page bill will replace both the Condo Act (RCW 64.34) and the HOA Act (RCW 64.38) for all Common Interest Communities (“CICs”) created after July of this year.
