  • Bixby City Council votes in favor of developer’s plans to convert golf course into homes (OK) April 10, 2024
    The Bixby City Council voted to pass an amendment that approved the developer’s plans to convert the White Hawk Golf Course into homes, according to the Homeowners Association president.  Three City councilors voted for it and two opposed the motion.   Read the article…………………………….

  • Two animals killed, one person rescued in fire at condominium complex in NW OKC (OK) October 19, 2023
    Firefighters evacuated the complex, and rescued one person who was reportedly trapped.  Police blocked off a section of May while crews worked to put the fire out.  According to OKCFD, four units were heavily damaged.     Read the article……………………………….

  • Regarding who must report Beneficial Owner Information for an incorporated HOA, FINCEN’s FAQ has this to say: (OK)
    A homeowners association (HOA) that meets the reporting company definition and does not qualify for any exemptions must report its beneficial owner(s).     The law of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and Property Owners Associations (POAs) is in a state of evolution in Oklahoma. In 1975, the Oklahoma Legislature enacted the “Real Estate Development Act” (REDA). Developments and HOAs created prior to 1975 are not covered by the Act.
