Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection notified the Silver Lake Community Association in 2013 that the lake’s earthen dam is deficient and requires rehabilitation and upgrades.  According to DEP, the reservoir created by the dam “has very little freeboard above the normal operating level of the reservoir.”     Read the entire article……………………………….
