Following the “stay in place” order by Gov. Gavin Newsom in mid-March, Sun City’s Association was forced to terminate approximately 145 employees, which represented 60% of its workforce. Even though said employees’ health benefits were covered through the end of May, many were forced to rely on unemployment benefits and food banks to pay their bills and feed their families.   Read the article……………………….
