An important aspect of condominium life is knowing how to resolve disputes and enforce the homeowner association bylaws. California law sets forth the basic condominium rules in the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act. Your HOA governing documents, such as the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions or CC&Rs, may have additional rules.
