On its face, R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is a discrimination claim solely relegated to the employment world; however, the United States Supreme Court’s decision on whether sex discrimination includes a person’s transgender or transitioning status and a person’s refusal to conform to sex-based stereotypes will also impact housing laws and whether homeowners may bring a housing sex discrimination claim on the basis of a person’s transgender or transitioning status and a person’s refusal to conform to sex-based stereotypes.   Read the article………………………
