From now on, those officers will relocate an alligator from someone’s home only if that home is part of a homeowners association with a communal pond, lake or other suitable gator habitat. If the home isn’t part of an association or the neighborhood has no suitable habitat, then the officers will monitor the animal and call the S.C.
