Eric Mander, who lives on Darby Lane in Evanston, came to the city council work session on Tuesday, Feb. 11, to discuss several issues of concern to residents who live on Darby Lane. There are six homes residing on mostly five-acre size lots. “The people who live on Darby Lane pay a total of $31,000 in property taxes, yet have no city services,” Mander said. “We get no garbage pick-up and no road maintenance. There are six homes on Kingfisher Road and they pay less, around $28,387 in property taxes, and get all city services.” Read the article…………………………….
