The residents of Thoreau Drive found out the hard way that Eversource is not responsible for maintaining power lines on the private road.  Power went out on the street early Wednesday. Twenty homes on the U-shaped road off Brackett Road lost electricity that powered their wells, refrigerators and air conditioners.    Read the article………………………….
