The special election to disannex the subdivision from New Fairview was approved overwhelmingly by Denton County voters. New Fairview voters in Wise County were in favor of keeping the city intact.  “I’m disappointed,” said New Fairview Mayor John Taylor. “There are so many great people in that community.
