I live in a cooperative governed by a board of directors.  There are many “committees” that offer recommendations to the board. One of these is the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) that reviews all applications for permits.  Our ARC consists of four members who also happen to be members of the board of directors. There are no other shareholders on this committee. There appears to be a conflict of interest in this.   Read the article……………………..
