A big dam is becoming a big headache for some homeowners in Fayette County. Mandates and zoning changes are forcing residents of a community lake to possibly fork over hundreds of thousands of dollars.  The reason is the Georgia Safe Dams Program which, according to its website develops and maintains “inventory of dams, classifying dams, and ensuring compliance of all regulated dams”.    Read the article…………………….
