This article is about a specific type of condominium, referred to as a “site” condominium or sometimes a “horizontal” condominium. The term “site” is preferable to horizontal, since in the taxonomy of condominium unit boundaries, horizontal means the upper and lower boundary separating one unit from another.1 A site condominium is a unit which comprises an area of land, i.e., a “site”, or the land and improvements located thereon.
