Q. A recent article in The New York Times (“Hurdles for Condo Buyers,” by Lisa Prevost, Oct. 3) noted that some condominium boards use the right of first refusal to “screen” buyers, much the way co-op boards do. My question is more basic: what if a buyer and a seller simply refuse to furnish the board with information other than the contract of sale price of the apartment? Read more……
